An Artist's Trip to Italy

This collection of oil paintings was completed as a student in the 2011 study abroad program with the Academy of Art University. Many of these were done in and around Corciano, a small hillside village located in Umbria, Italy, where I lived for two months. The others were created from visits to Florence and Venice during this time period. The Corciano paintings were either plein air or done from small oil studies and the paintings of Venice and Florence were done from small plein air watercolor studies.
